Headway Derby offers member days, accredited education project, young peoples group, volunteering opportunities and 1-2-1 outreach services to support brain injured people living within the Derby and Southern Derbyshire areas.  Our popular members day service features a variety of developmental activities to support the rehabilitation of people with a brain injury. As our services continue to evolve we are always open to new ideas for activities to try out!

Headway Derby offers a comprensive tailored one to one rehabilitation service supporting brain injured people to live in their own home and local community, providing help with budgeting, daily living and implementing plans that have been developed by our specialist brain injury support workers, or the clients' rehabilitation team.  The aim of this service is to encourage the service user to live progressively more independently and maximise their whole life prospects and potential.

The majority of our clients pay for their services through their Personal Budget, Interim Compensation Funding or through self funding.

There are a couple of projects that we recieve Grant Funding to deliver, as such we can offer a limited amount of free places for these.

Please contact us to discuss your needs and how you may be supported by our team of specialist Brain Injury Support Workers. We can look at creating a plan and the associated costs together to see how best to support you as you learn to live with your brain injury. Also, read about our rehabilitation support service.
